By tapping on the heart icon on profiles, you will Superswipe them which means that they will get a notification that you like them before they would see and swipe you. Bumble claims that it can significantly increase your chance of matching with the desired Bumble profile.

The yellow dot on Bumble is the symbol you can see in your Messages screen. If you see in a profile picture it indicates that there are unread messages in your Bumble conversation.

You can find these green circles in you Bumble match queue around certain Bumble matches, also called Admirers. These green circles indicate that these profiles have swiped you right, but you haven’t swiped them yet.

You will only see all of these profiles if you are a Bumble Boost subscriber. If you are a subscriber you can swipe them left or like them and match with them instantly thanks to the Beeline feature. If you are not a premium Bumble subscriber, you will only see the profile picture of one profile and even her profile picture will be blurred out as in the following picture:

When you already have matched with a profile but the First Move has not yet been made, then you will see a yellow circle around the profile picture that is diminishing as time passes.

The First Move on Bumble means that once you matched with someone the women have 24 hours to send the first message or the match will disappear from the match queue. Guys can use the Extend feature to extend the period to make the first move.

You can also see sometimes a red circle around the profile pictures in your Bumble match queue. When you see the red circles it means that the first 24 hours to make the First Move is about to expire. It appears just 1 hour before the match would disappear.

When you see the red circle on Bumble and you find your match really hot or good looking, this is the perfect time to use the Extend feature that you can use once a day even if you are using a free account.

When you see a blue circle surrounding the profile pictures in your match queue, it means that you have already applied the Extend feature on that match and you have added 24 hours for the profile to make the first move.

Once this 24-hour period expires you cannot extend this Bumble match again. Every match can be extended only one time. You still have the chance to rematch with this profile again which gives another opportunity for the girl to send you the first message. To be able to use Bumble Rematch, you have to be a Bumble Boost subscriber.

The Bumble Boost icon that resembles a white lightning bolt on a green background is the symbol of Bumble’s only subscription package.

When you want to get access to these features you can tap on this icon on your profile page and purchase a subscription.

When you use a Bumble Spotlight your profile “skips the line” for 30 minutes and becomes the top profile in your neighborhood. In this 30-minute period, your profile will get way more matches than in an average period because of the higher face time your profile gets. You have to spend 2 Bumble coins to be able to have one Spotlight session.
