How To Cancel A Zoosk Subscription?
Zoosk subscriptions have an automatic renewal function, which means that when your subscription is due to expire, it will automatically renew. You can turn this feature off for your account, and it is worth making a note of the date when your account is due to renew, so you can make this change before it is too late.
If you want to cancel your subscription, you can turn off automatic renewal, by going to your Zoosk Account Settings. If you are using a computer, this can be done through the Zoosk website, and by logging into your account. You then need to click on the cogwheel icon on the top left corner.
Then select Subscriptions, which is on the right side. This takes you to the subscription page. Then hit Cancel Subscription, and click on Unsubscribe and select a cancellation reason.
If the cancellation was successful, a confirmation screen will appear, showing you when your subscription will expire. If you do not see this screen it is worth repeating the steps above.
You can also cancel your subscription on your smartphone, by logging into your Zoosk account on the website. Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner, then tap the gear icon, which is near to your account nickname. The tap subscription, and at the bottom of the screen, hit Cancel Subscription and follow the instructions on the screen.
Whichever method you chose, make sure that you carefully follow each on-screen instruction, otherwise, your account may not be unsubscribed and you may continue to be charged.
Beware, if you have purchased a subscription through third-party providers such as iTunes, Google Play or Amazon, you will also need to follow their terms and conditions. What happens when you cancel a Zoosk subscription?
If you want your Zoosk profile to be invisible to people, you will need to deactivate your account as well as cancel your subscription.
If you have a Zoosk subscription and want to deactivate your account, you will need to cancel your account first. If you have already cancelled your Zoosk subscription, you will also need to deactivate your account.
If you are using a computer, there are a number of steps to follow to deactivate your account. This can be done by logging onto your Zoosk account through their website. Then click on the cogwheel icon, near your account name, which is at the top left corner of the page. Then select Account and click on Account Status, followed by clicking on Deactivate Account. Hit Deactivate on the bottom of the screen, which will take you through to a confirmation page. Then confirm your choice by clicking on Deactivate Your Zoosk Account.
You can also deactivate your account by using your smartphone, by logging onto the Zoosk app. Hit the 3 lines menu, which is on the top left corner.
Then the gear icon, which is close to your account nickname. Then hit Account, then hit the pencil close to your Account Status. Tap Deactivate and make sure you follow the on-screen instructions.
If you deactivate your account, you will lose your benefits from your Zoosk subscription, and in line with their Terms of Use Agreement, you will not be provided with a refund.
Can you ask for a refund on a Zoosk subscription?
Yes, you can try to ask Zoosk for a refund. Zoosk says that if you have made a purchase in error, or are unsure about payment, then contact Zoosk Customer Support, who will get back to you as quickly as they can.
However, if you cancel your subscription mid-way through your subscription terms it is unlikely that Zoosk will refund you.
Can’t Cancel Zoosk Subscription?
Some users have reported that they have been unable to cancel their Zoosk subscription. It is a good idea to make a note of your subscription end date, and allow a few days before this to cancel your subscription, so it is not too late and any issues could be sorted out.
